About the Designer
Designer Örge Tulga, although always keen on jewelry design, completed her university education in the Department of Statistics at Middle East Technical University. After working in the IT sector for seven years, she turned to jewelry design, her true passion in life, and made a bold decision to completely change the direction of her career. She learned jewelry design techniques by attending different courses in Istanbul for four years, and during this time she was influenced by the spirit of the Grand Bazaar, where she spent most of her time. In 2002, she opened her first personal exhibition and began her professional work in her workshop in Çemberlitaş.
In her collections, traces of art and history can be found, Örge Tulga's "elegant and original" style also reflects a contemporary and distinguished line. She avoids straight lines and sharp lines in her designs, instead preferring amorphous and soft shapes. The designer uses precious, semi-precious and natural stones, amorphous pearls and enamel as well as silver and gold as metals. Örge Tulga, who brings together simplicity and refinement in her unique jewelry, believes that her designs reflect the concept of balance and positive energy, which are part of her perspective on life. Örge Tulga continues her professional career, which has completed 21 years, by preparing new collections with different designs that bring the spirit of 'old Istanbul' together with modern life.
